چکیده
We introduce a new open-source software library Jet, which uses task-based parallelism to obtain speed-ups in classical tensor-network simulations of quantum circuits. These result from i) the increased introduced by mapping simulation framework, ii) novel method reusing shared work between contraction tasks, and iii) concurrent tensor networks on all available hardware. demonstrate advantages our benchmarking code several Sycamore-53 Gaussian boson sampling (GBS) supremacy circuits against other simulators. also provide compare theoretical performance estimates for GBS first time.

Variational quantum Monte Carlo simulations with tensor-network states.
We show that the formalism of tensor-network states, such as the matrix-product states (MPS), can be used as a basis for variational quantum Monte Carlo simulations. Using a stochastic optimization method, we demonstrate the potential of this approach by explicit MPS calculations for the transverse Ising chain with up to N=256 spins at criticality, using periodic boundary conditions and D x D m...
متن کاملA fast wallace-based parallel multiplier in quantum-dot cellular automata
Physical limitations of Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductors (CMOS) technology at nanoscale and high cost of lithography have provided the platform for creating Quantum-dot Cellular Automata (QCA)-based hardware. The QCA is a new technology that promises smaller, cheaper and faster electronic circuits, and has been regarded as an effective solution for scalability problems in CMOS technolog...

متن کاملqTorch: The Quantum Tensor Contraction Handler
Classical simulation of quantum computation is necessary for studying the numerical behavior of quantum algorithms, as there does not yet exist a large viable quantum computer on which to perform numerical tests. Tensor network (TN) contraction is an algorithmic method that may be used for such simulations, often greatly reducing the computational cost over methods that simulate the full Hilber...
متن کاملRPYFMM: Parallel Adaptive Fast Multipole Method for Rotne-Prager-Yamakawa Tensor in Biomolecular Hydrodynamics Simulations
RPYFMM is a software package for the efficient evaluation of the potential field governed by the Rotne-Prager-Yamakawa (RPY) tensor interactions in biomolecular hydrodynamics simulations. In our algorithm, the RPY tensor is decomposed as a linear combination of four Laplace interactions, each of which is evaluated using the adaptive fast multipole method (FMM) [1] where the exponential expansio...
